Emely Duenas

Emely joined Binns Family Law as a paralegal/legal assistant in early 2023. Emely graduated from California State University, Chico in May of 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Legal Studies. While at Chico State she was a part of the only legal information clinic in the country that is completely run by undergraduate students. While in the legal clinic she aided inmates throughout the nation in filing for Habeas Corpus as well as helping members of the community obtain social security benefits. Being a part of this program allowed Emely to obtain an ABA accredited paralegal certificate.

Emely has lived in this area her entire life and is excited to help the members of the community with their family law needs alongside Rochelle! When Emely is not working she can be found at the beach, at a local farmers market, crocheting, or in the Moorpark and Simi Valley area spending time with her friends and family!
