Rochelle Binns
Rochelle Binns is an experienced family law attorney who has represented hundreds of clients in a wide range of family law matters including divorce and legal separation, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support/alimony, property division, prenuptial agreements, surrogacy agreements, restraining orders, and more.
Rochelle graduated in the top of her class from Southwestern Law School in December 2015 and passed the California bar exam on the first attempt despite a 35% pass rate at the time. She got her start in personal injury law where she fought tirelessly for her injured clients. Rochelle brings that same fighting passion to family law. Rochelle opened Binns Family Law (formerly Law Office of Rochelle Binns) in 2021 after more than five years of working for larger law firms. She aims to provide quality, affordable legal representation to a wide range of clients including those who have otherwise been unable to afford a lawyer in the past.
When she isn't fighting tirelessly for her family law clients Rochelle can be found at the beach, reading, or spending time with her husband and children. Rochelle writes mystery and thriller novels under a pen name and has published 6 books so far, with 3 more scheduled to be published in 2025. Rochelle is passionate about books and is a founding member of the Simi Valley Library Foundation where she is currently serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors.
The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce named Rochelle "Emerging Leader of the Year" for 2024, and she was recognized at the city's Salute to Excellence Event in January 2025. Rochelle was also recently elected to serve a 3-year term on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
